For Vial Labels:
- Measure the Circumference – Wrap a flexible measuring tape around the vial to determine the label’s width. Alternatively, use this formula:
Circumference=Diameter×π(3.14) - Measure the Height – Measure the straight vertical distance between the top and bottom edges where the label will be placed.
- Consider Bleed Area – Add 1-2mm on all sides for printing bleed to ensure accurate cutting.
- Decide on Label Type – Choose between a full-wrap label (covering most of the vial) or a partial label with space for transparency.
For Vial Boxes:
- Measure the Vial Dimensions – Note the height, diameter, and cap size of the vial.
- Determine the Box Size – Allow extra space for secure fit and padding if needed. Typical styles include tuck-end boxes, flip-top, or two-piece rigid boxes.
